CHALLENGE
We were tasked with the full creative marketing account for rebranding Onondaga County's Save the Rain program, a nationally recognized initiative focused on reducing stormwater pollution and improving water quality. The program, while impactful, needed a refreshed brand identity that could effectively engage diverse community audiences, simplify complex environmental concepts, and inspire greater participation. This required balancing the technical aspects of the program with a compelling, accessible message that resonated emotionally with the public, aligned with the county’s sustainability goals, and positioned Save the Rain as a leader in green infrastructure innovation. The client required everything from a revised logo, brand standards guidelines, a website along with advertising, signage etc.
RESULTS
To address the challenge, we developed a revitalized brand identity for Save the Rain that simplified complex concepts, highlighted the program’s impact, and fostered community engagement through clear, compelling visuals and messaging, positioning it as a leader in sustainability and green infrastructure.
